Partnered with the web development team to create a legislative bill tracker for public transparency. Designed the technical infrastructure to integrate government APIs and built an intelligent summarization layer using AI. Established robust engineering practices by setting up unit and end-to-end tests, architected AWS infrastructure to power multiple site features, and implemented a streamlined CI/CD pipeline.

Integrated 2 new audio playback features for reporters to use in articles. One feature was created and deployed in AWS Lambda function to integrate Spotify API to provide audio playback of Salt Lake Tribune podcasts. The second feature was created and deployed through S3 Bucket and Cloudfront Distribution to house and serve custom Salt Lake Tribune audio. Increased subscriber growth by 10% through creation and design of several new landing pages such as newsletter sign-up and new subscriber page Built story specific landing pages, more recently used MapBoxGL to create an interactive visualization of 16,000+ map data points corresponding to Latter-day Saints properties in America. Collaborated with project managers, creative teams, and reporters to deliver original, efficient solutions for delivering news to Utahns.
